The role supports public needs and contributes to dependable operations within the Bureau of Driver Licensing. As a Clerical Assistant 2, you will perform the following duties:
- Application Review: Examine applications and payments to determine if requests can be processed
- Accuracy Standards: Maintain a minimum accuracy rate of 98 percent while following established procedures
- Data Processing: Use computer systems to enter information, prepare documents, and complete driver record tasks
- Record Delivery: Verify completed products and send them to customers
- Attestation Preparation: Complete and type attestations with correct information
- Seal Application: Apply the Department seal to certified work
- Daily Reporting: Prepare daily production sheets and record required information
- Revenue Handling: Prepare deposit materials and transmit revenue information
- Equipment Care: Maintain printers and WID machines to keep them in working condition
- Customer Communication: Communicate with customers in a courteous manner
- Instruction Follow-Through: Follow both written and verbal instructions accurately

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
- Work hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday-Friday, with a 1-hour lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,831.00 (before taxes).

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Graduation from high school; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
