UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh is seeking a Full-Time Pharmacist to join our in-patient pharmacy team on a rotating schedule.
Join a nationally recognized pediatric health system and help deliver exceptional care to children and their families. Title and Rate of Pay will be based on Education and Experience
Schedule:
- Rotating daylight and evening shifts
- Every 4th weekend
- 2-3 Holidays per year
Primary Responsibilities:
- Review and verify medication orders.
- Ensure safe and accurate dispensing of medications.
- Provide drug information and clinical consultation to healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
- Support medication safety and quality initiatives.
- PharmD or equivalent degree.
- Current Pennsylvania pharmacist license or eligibility for licensure.
- Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
- Pediatric experience preferred but not required.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
- Pharmacist License
- Clearances with Renewal:
- Act 31, 33, 34, & 73
