OVERVIEW:

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Business & Site Merchandising Strategy 

  • Partner with Merchandising, eCommerce, and Marketing to define and optimize category strategy, driving sales growth while maximizing margin and inventory turn 

  • Translate category strategies into the digital experience by owning decisions across product presentation onsite, category pages, taxonomy, navigation, sorting, and digital creative execution 

  • Develop differentiated and elevated athlete-first digital experiences based on athlete behavior and needs for assigned category 

  • Monitor competitive landscape and industry trends to inform strategy and identify opportunities 

  • Identify and action strategic adjustments based on performance data, customer insights, and brand/vendor priorities 

  • Provide input into online assortment strategy, identifying opportunities for expanded assortment and drop ship growth 

  • Ensure product content, attribution, and setup support strong conversion 

Execution, Analytics & Optimization 

  • Lead execution of eCommerce merchandising, including promotions, campaigns, creative placement, and product launches 

  • Analyze performance across sales, conversion, traffic, margin, and assortment to drive data-based insights, actions and decisions 

  • Translate insights to inform prioritized actions with cross functional partners across pricing, marketing, content, and site experience 

  • Optimize homepage, category, and campaign placements to maximize visibility, conversion and demand 

  • Ensure product and collection pages meet high standards for accuracy, quality, and effectiveness 

Content & Marketing Strategy  

  • Leads category content strategy optimizing the quality, depth, and consistency of copy, imagery, and attribution to drive conversion 

  • Partners closely with eCommerce Marketing to plan and execute integrated campaigns across digital marketing channels including Performance Marketing, Email, SMS, and Social - ensuring cohesive messaging, storytelling, and alignment to business priorities. 

  • Shapes SEO- and content-driven growth by collaborating with SEO/SEM and Site Capabilities teams to improve search visibility, organic traffic, and onsite discoverability. 

  • Translates business and athlete insights into actions that lead to improvements & enhancements to  the digital experience 

  • Owns execution of high-impact campaigns and seasonal moments for the assigned category driving cross-functional alignment, speed to market, and measurable demand and conversion lift 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Marketing, Business Administration, MIS, or related field

  • 3-5 years

  • Digital or retail merchandising experience
